InterSpiritual Care Program

Welcome, Dear One.

It’s no coincidence that you’re here.

You have a need for something, and may not even know what it is…and that’s ok.

Take a deep breath and relax, we’re here to help.

What is spiritual care?

Spiritual care is for everyone, especially the most rapidly growing segment of the population, the spiritual but not religious (SBNR).

You may be a seeker, yearning for a genuine connection to something greater than yourself, or perhaps have been wounded in a way that has left you in search of healing.

Maybe you've been perpetually silenced but are now ready to be heard.

One of our compassionate InterSpiritual Counselors will guide and companion you through self-exploration from a compassionate, holistic, heart-centered perspective. Unlike traditional therapy, in InterSpiritual Counseling we trust that you possess the inner knowing, the wisdom, the way to discover and recover your truth. As InterSpiritual Counselors, our role is to companion you as a sacred witness and to create a safe space for transformation. We’ll help you gain insight into unresolved issues and unconscious motivations that may be holding you back from true, soul-level healing.

What can it do for me?

Spiritual care offers authentic freedom.

You’ll release old, outdated beliefs, stories and ideologies and embrace life as a learning process to grow and evolve. Although we can’t control everything that happens to us, we can control how we experience it. Indeed, sometimes pain is unavoidable, Beloved, but suffering is not. You will discover, among many other things, how to cultivate self-love, the foundational element for authentic fulfillment and happiness. You will handle the ebb and flow of life with more confidence and ease.

Please note that although InterSpiritual Counseling honors the integration of body, mind and spirit, it is not psychotherapy. It is a doorway to self-realization and transformative healing through gentle and compassionate direction.

Rev. Mary Beth

InterSpiritual Care Director

After two plus decades as a corporate marketing executive, I finally said Yes to my heart’s calling and literally turned my life upside down. I enrolled in a progressive Christian seminary where I received my Master of Divinity degree- and in the process- discerned that traditional religion was no longer the only way to connect and be in relationship with the Source of All that is: Divine Love. Continuing to listen to my inner guidance, I attended a Spiritual Counseling program where I became an InterSpiritual Counselor. InterSpiritual Counseling has become the center of my ministry and my life’s work where I am honored to journey alongside others and help guide spiritual seekers in connecting with their deepest wisdom and discover their authentic self. I serve as a spiritual counselor for individuals as well as groups, and have also trained, mentored, and supervised new students in the field.

I subsequently attended a second seminary, One Spirit, that enabled me to see and be seen as my true self. In 2017 I was ordained as an Interfaith Minister. Today as Interfaith Minister, InterSpiritual Counselor, and farmer, I live in deep relationship with the Holy, with Nature, and with the Animal Companions who fill my life with so much love. The alpacas, miniature donkeys, goats, babydoll sheep, chickens, and ducks with whom I share this sacred space have become my greatest spiritual teachers. In addition to my work as an InterSpiritual Counselor and Minister, I am a certified End-of-Life Doula, End-of-Life Pet Companion, and Reiki and Animal Reiki Practitioner. I love to facilitate groups, retreats, and workshops where we integrate eco-art, spiritual inquiry, nature exploration, and animal experiences and come to honor both who we are and who we are becoming. Through intentional presence with the Creator, Creation, and the Created, we are invited to connect to something deeper and richer in each of us- our true soul essence.
